Stefan Painting approached me for a complete overhaul of their Flash based website. Although somewhat attractive, the Flash site at the time was outdated, missing some basic functionality and was overly complicated to navigate. It was clear from the get go that an elegant and functional design that did not include flash was the end goal that Stefan Painting wanted to achieve to highlight the professional work they do.
The new website was created from scratch using semantic HTML and CSS. A simple navigation structure was implemented highlighting the top-level categories. Sub navigation in category pages was included for quick and easy access to related information.
The warm, earthy colour palette used in the design reflects the eco friendly direction that Stefan Painting has adopted with their professional practices.
